Each Thursday this month except on Thanksgiving, shops all around Decatur will be offering special holiday deals. Get in the holiday spirit with their tree lighting, Santa sightings, refreshments, bonfire on the square and extended hours.

TASTE OF KENNESAW
Taste of Kennesaw offers samplings from over 30 local restaurants for just $1 - $4. Partake in their beer garden, Kids Zone, sample delicious food, and sit back and listen to great music. The Main Street stage offers local entertainment all day and culminates with a free concert at 6:00 p.m.

CHOMP AND STOMP
Free to Attend Cabbagetown
Chomp & Stomp Chili Cook-off and Bluegrass Festival benefits Cabbagetown parks, green spaces, and community center. Featuring a chili cook-off including individual and restaurant chilis, 5K run, artist market, live bluegrass music, beer and more. The festival opens at 11:00 a.m. while the chomp'n begins at 12:30 p.m. The event is free to attend with $10 tasting spoon.

CHASTAIN PARK ART FESTIVAL
Free to Attend Chastain Park
Over 200 booths from fine painters, photographers, sculptors, leather and metal craft persons, glass blowers, jewelers and more. The festival also offers visitors the opportunity to view artist demonstrations, enjoy live entertainment and participate in hands-on arts activities. Children's area, local food and beverage concessions including the "gourmet" food trucks.

VETERAN'S DAY CONCERT
Free City Green at Sandy Springs
Enjoy music under the stars featuring Yankton, a Nashville favorite with a set list including popular songs as well as patriotic anthems. Food and beverages will be available for sale. Complimentary parking in the City Springs parking deck.

VETERANS DAY PARADE
Free Centennial Olympic Park Center
Help the Georgia Veterans Day Association honor our veterans and celebrate the 77th Anniversary of the USO. The Parade will start at 11:11 a.m., in Downtown Atlanta on Peachtree Street south of Ralph McGill/Ivan Allen Blvd and proceed south towards Centennial Olympic Park. The Grand Marshal for the 2018 Parade is Col Danny McKnight, U.S. Army Retired.

FESTIVAL OF TREES
Free event; Aurora Theatre
Aurora will once again spread the goodwill of the season by hosting The Festival of Trees in support of both the United States Marine Corps Toys for Tots drive and local food banks. From delicate to dramatic, the Festival of Trees will deck the halls of Aurora Theatre with nearly 30 trees decorated by local businesses.

ATLANTIC STATION TREE LIGHTING
Free Atlantic Station
Kick off the holiday season at Atlantic Station's annual tree lighting celebration. This family-friendly event will feature live musical entertainment, a kids' activity area, live reindeer, a holiday parade and more. The night will culminate with Santa's arrival, a Holiday Jubilee performance, the tree lighting with more than 250,000 lights, a "snow show" and fireworks. The lighting of the Christmas Tree in Central Park takes place at approximately 8:00 p.m. followed by fireworks.
